Utilizing Gift Cards
Feb 12, 2024Hi, I'm Dave Kats with Therapist Consultants and I have a tip for you. You know, there's lots of things you can do on the internet to build your practice as far as new patients are concerned, but there's some things you have to do that aren't on the internet too.
You have to do some one-on-one marketing, and we found something that works extremely well. We put out plastic gift cards. They just say on them gift card $100 and it says the name of our clinic. We use those to hand out to the 40 closest businesses to us. We give two of them to each of the new patients on about their fourth visit, and we use them every time we do a speech or something else. You'll find these plastic gift cards have a lot of value.
People look at them a lot different than a paper certificate. They look at them almost as a, a gift card that you would get from a Lowe's or Home Depot or somewhere like that. So I would encourage you to get a gift card. We get them from plastic card monster.com or we get them from Vistaprint, which is probably the easiest place to get them. As soon as you get them, hand out two of them to each of the 40 closest businesses. Then you go out and you give these to each of your new patients. You give them as Christmas gifts if you want to, use them anytime you need a card like this, if you're speaking at an engagement or something like that.
So buy a gift card. We buy 500 of them. You will use them and they will produce new patients for you. This is Dave Kats. Thanks for listening
