Utilizing A Good Plan Of Care

Today I'd like to talk to you about the use of a plan of care. The one we offer is a colored four-page plan of care that explains to the patient what they need to do and what they can expect from care at your office. Now this is the reason we use a written plan of care. You may say, well I explain to them what we need, but finish these two sentences for me. Seeing is believing. But you can't believe everything you...hear.

So when you hear something, it has a certain impact on you. But when you see it and hear it at the same time, it has a much larger impact on you. And if you want patients to accept your care and to stay with you for their total time of care with you, then you need to use a good visual tool also. The reason we suggest using a four-color and good and quality brochure because you're competing with the health care dollars and with all the other health care professional that have very professional material.

You go to a medical doctor, they don't have some black and white paper that's stapled together. They have good four-color brochures. And so you have to have a quality piece that you can explain your care to the patients. Now, this brochure will adapt to anybody.
