Start Using Short Videos
Aug 28, 2023Hi, I'm Dave Kats with Therapist Consultants, and I have a tip for you. Now it's time for you to learn how to shoot short videos. You can shoot them yourself, or you can have somebody else shoot them with you, but you need to know how to shoot short videos, and here's why; because videos are becoming so prevalent in social media, your website, and places like that.
You may say to me, "What do I do as far as a short video?" Well, it can be very short. It can be 30 seconds, it can be 60 seconds, it can be 90 seconds. You say, "Where am I going to use them?" Well, first of all, you need to have a video on psychology today. If a picture is worth 1,000 words, then a video's worth 100,000 words. So you need a good video on psychology today, right now.
You also need a good short video on your website. Now, what do you talk about? All they want to see is that you're normal, and that you're accepting, and that they can work with you. Talk about anything you want to, maybe 90 seconds, maybe two minutes at the most, on your website.
The third place you're going to want to use short videos is on social media. Right now, if you have just writing on social media, nobody stops to look. If you have a picture, they glance at you. If you have a video and it looks interesting, they'll play the video and stay with you. So that's what I suggest; you learn how to do your own short videos.
