Marketing During COVID-19

Hi, this is Dave Kats with Therapist Consultants and I have a tip for you.

They say for every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction and for every adverse thing that happens, there's opportunity in the same amount. What's the opportunity that we see when we talk about the COVID-19 pandemic that we're in? The answer is that it's an opportunity to market and be much more successful. Here's why. Right now the internet is exploding because everybody's staying at home at night, staying at home during the daytime, they're not going out to eat and they're on the computer or the TV day and night.

When is the best time to answer your phone? When it rings. When's the best time to advertise? When people are watching. Right now people are watching on every medium there is, they are exploding their computer, they're on the computer so much time. Why not advertise on the computer during this COVID-19 pandemic when you know that there are twice as many people on the internet as there were a year ago? I've suggested right now you put together a marketing plan to market in ways that get into people's homes, not when they're driving on a billboard or anything like that.

I know you wouldn't be doing that, but not something that's outside, but something that comes right into their home. The best way to do that, of course, is on the internet. Your Google advertising would be good right now. Facebook advertising and posts and boosted posts and things like that would work real well right now. Being on Instagram, maybe you've never introduced yourself to Instagram, that would be a great place to start right now but before you leave today, before you go home today, why don't you look at the opportunities that you have to market during this COVID-19 time with the emphasis being on, I want to get into people's homes with my advertising.

I think you'll find that you get a great return on investment during this COVID-19 time if you get into their homes with your marketing.
