Looking For An Office Space

Hi, this is Dave Kats with Therapist Consultants and I have a tip for you. You know, some of us have moved from brick and mortar locations to a virtual location, but now some of the insurance companies are asking us to move back to brick and mortar. So you may be looking for an office space before too long.

Now, if you're going to look for an office space, one of the best places to go is an executive suite. Executive suites vary by price per month, and especially depending on the part of the country. If you're in the Midwest, you may find an executive suite for as little as $300 a month. If you're in another part of the country, you may find it as much as $1,200 to get an executive suite that fits your needs. Now, what should you look for if you're looking for an executive office? Number one, they should pay all the utilities. Number two, they should have a six month lease or less. You don't want to get locked too long. Number three, they'll do some minor furnishing, but you have to expect that you're gonna have to put some furnishings in your room to make it look like livable office space.

Number four, they should give you a copy machine. That's important that you have ability to make copies there. Then number five, you should have the internet available to you. That'll save you money if they have the internet. Number six, some of them have receptionists, so it's good to have a receptionist. They'll answer your phone once in a while and they'll direct patients. And then number seven, they may have what I call a community room, a general office that you can use to hold meeting. It's usually on a first come first serve basis or by appointment, but it's usually vacant most of the time.
