It's Time To Get Training!

Hi, this is Dave Kats with Therapist Consultants, and I have a tip for you. The tip comes in the form of two words, get training. Here's what I found out, that almost all of our successful clients get more training after they leave school than the average client does. So the more successful people take more techniques, they take more procedures, they have more practice building seminars that they go to, they go to seminars to build their internet presence and they just get more training.

So if you're going to be successful, you need to get more training. I'll tell you why, it gives you direction. I had one therapist say, I really don't know what I'm going to talk about a lot of times when I walk into the room with a client. And that's kind of a scary feeling. . If you have enough training with techniques, you know pretty much what you're gonna do when you go in with those clients. And the other thing that I feel that it helps you do is it helps you stay current.

You know, as you get older and you're out of school for five and ten and fifteen years, you have lost touch if you don't take any training. You have lost touch with those things that are helping the practice and the profession grow. So if you're going to build your practice, I would suggest that you get extra training, whether it's in technique, whether it's in your coaching, how to build your practice, whether it's in building your internet presence. You gotta have more training because training equals success in the case of a therapy practice. This is Dave Kats, thanks for listening.
